The TV Plan Worksheet is a tool for creating a detailed TV and/or cable schedule. The user selects and inputs various programming data (avails, rates, projected ratings, etc.) gathered from the applicable media outlets. The worksheet calculates average cost-per-GRPs, total GRPs and costs for a typical week as well as for the overall schedule. To assist in rate negotiations, the application features “Target Rate” inputs to assist the user in calculating competitive and cost-effective rates based on cost-per-point comparisons. For each of 4 dayparts, the application calculates the total number of spots, GRPs and cost, which then links the results directly to the TV Reach & Frequency Analysis application and all data to the TV Insertion Order. User inputs are featured in BLUE type!
The TV Reach & Frequency Analysis is a television pre- or post-buy schedule analysis tool. Utilizing the results of the TV Pre-Buy Worksheet, the application will calculate, for each of 4 dayparts and for the overall schedule, gross impressions, net reach rating, net reach persons, average frequency, cost-per-GRP, and cost-per-thousand net reach. Additionally, total spots, total GRPs and total cost of schedule (1 to 4 weeks or flights) are calculated. User inputs are featured in BLUE type!
Mirroring a TV schedule prepared in the TV Plan Worksheet, the TV Post-Buy Analysis compares the Quoted Rates, Quoted Rating Points and Spots Ordered to the Delivered Rates, Delivered Rating Points and Spots Delivered for each program in the buy. The application alerts the user when and where discrepencies occur, and displays differential totals of the overall schedule cost, spot totals and rating point totals. User inputs are featured in BLUE type!
